Files that end in *.PDF can be viewed by downloading the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software.

To view files ending in *.DOC you will need to have the Word component of the Microsoft Office suite installed. If you don't have this, download the free standalone Microsoft Word Viewer.

Microsoft Powerpoint To view files ending in *.PPT you will need to have the Powerpoint component of the Microsoft Office suite installed. If you don't have this, download the free standalone Microsoft Powerpoint Viewer.

Files that end in *.MP3 can be played by downloading the free iTunes software.

 .ZIP File Format
Winzip/Stuffit Large files are sometimes compressed for faster transmission across the internet. To open files ending in *.ZIP you will need to download the free Winzip utility.
Note that Macintosh users should download Stuffit Expander.
