It’s difficult being content in America anytime, but it's particularly hard during the holiday season. There’s nothing wrong with the desire to acquire. But any gift out of control becomes bad and the uncontrolled desire to acquire is called coveting in the Bible. We, today, call it materialism – the uncontrolled desire to acquire. When it is out of control it causes all kinds of problems in your life.
