Pastor Rick taught this series in the early years of Saddleback Church to look at some of the most common mistakes that people make to cause stress in their lives. He first looks at the trap of commitments made in haste without considering the consequences. He then looks at the trap of comparing ourselves to others, the stress of indecision along with the principles for decision making, and how God heals our hidden hang ups. He looks at patience, and how God uses the times of waiting in our lives, and finally he looks at discouragement and what to do when you want to give up.
