PDYM is headed to Texas and Florida!

Look out - PDYM is leaving the West Coast and putting Pastor Rick's frequent flyer miles to use! Coming this spring we'll launch the first of our PDYM Regional Conferences. First, we'll stop at First Baptist Church of McKinney, Texas [Dallas area] on April 18th and 19th followed by a stop Beach UMC in Jacksonville, Florida on May 16th and 17th.

At each stop the first night will be dedicated to how to help hurting kids through Life Hurts, God Heals, the 8-step biblically based recovery program for hurting students, taught by author and youth worker, Megan Hutchinson.  The following day will be Doug Fields teaching Purpose Driven Youth Ministry.

Purpose Driven Youth Ministry:  Everything is driven by something; be it finances, passion, programming, etc.  The Bible clearly reveals God's purposes for our lives and for that of our ministries. On Saturday, you and your team will hear from Doug Fields as he shares his heart, knowledge, and experiences regarding Purpose Driven Youth Ministry.  We promise you will leave refreshed, rejuvenated, re-energized, as your whole team catches the vision of learning to balance your ministry around God’s purposes.

Life Hurts God Heals (LHGH): All students are hurting – just too varying degrees - for where you have students, you have pain.  LHGH started at Saddleback Church as a result of seeing the unmet needs of hurting students and now, they have a safe place to show up that equips them with lifelong tools to deal with the inevitable pain life brings. Is your ministry effectively helping students with their unresolved hurts, habits and/or hang-ups?  If not, make the decision to quit ignoring "those kids" and attend this seminar!
