First, if you have not done so already, please review the material in the Campaign Director’s section. Then:
1. Gather a prayer team. Our prayer is that this campaign will significantly benefit the life of your church. Cover it in prayer.
2. Determine your dates. Take a look at your church calendar and set aside the necessary time. Make sure everyone in your church is expecting the campaign!
3. Organize your small group hosts. The intent here is to have as many hosts as you can. Take a look at the “HOST” strategy found in the Campaign Director’s section. Encourage your existing small groups to split up and each member or couple become a host – for just six weeks (not forever!) Also, encourage every member/attendee in your church to join a small group, for the six weeks! Get the excitement going – your whole church is doing this together!
4. Familiarize yourselves with the campaign materials and resources. This will give you a better idea of what your people will be studying and learning. Perhaps you can preach a sermon or two that will help prepare them.
5. Determine your resource needs. As quickly as you can, place your order for books (1 per person), DVDs (1 per group) and small group study guides (1 per person)
6. Keep posted, ask questions. Get involved in the group discussions found on www.pastors.com. If you have a question, post a discussion thread. Your peers should provide answers and guidance. We’ll be in there as well. The more everyone shares via the discussion forum, the more we all benefit.
