The Promise of a New Year (MP3 and Transcript)
Pastor Tom Holladay challenges the congregation in this New Year’s message to try something radically different: to build their lives on God’s promises. He references 2 Peter 1:5-8 as he teaches how we can do this. First, we need to think as big as God is, while being careful not to let ego, fear or failure get in our way. And second, we need to start small by listening to God, telling him what we need, and thanking him for all that he is. Pastor Tom encourages us to get to know some of God’s 7,000 promises in the Bible.
